Pastor Vic Batista was born in The Dominican Republic. He came to the USA in 1977. He grew up in The New York area of Queens Manhattan & the Bronx.

He got his Associates Degree in Biomedical Electronics from Devry University in New Jersey in 1988. He moved to Miami December of 1992 through a job transfer.

 

In 1992 the Lord Touched his life in a miraculous way & set him apart for the ministry.

He has been in ministry for over a decade. He has ministered in the various Calvary Chapels in the area. He was ordained a minister of the Gospel at Calvary Chapel Miami Beach where he served as associate pastor for 5 years.

 

In 2004 He was sent out to start what is now Calvary Chapel Aventura, For these past Years this ministry has been able to reached out to thousands in the Miami Dade, Broward county area via their Radio, Television & Internet Program, Eyes on the Word can be heard weekly in English & Spanish.

 

Pastor Vic has a passion for Evangelism Missions & reaching the lost, Currently they are planting Calvary Chapels in The Dominican Republic.

 

Today Pastor Vic enjoys life as a Bi Vocational tent maker with General Electric as his full time job & also serves as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Aventura. He has been married to his lovely wife Maureen for over twelve years and is having a blast in life with their three children, Jael, Hannah, Isaac & their beautiful Floridian dog Flower.
